The Kansas City Chiefs are enroute back home via a United Airlines Boeing 777 from Las Vegas after their historic win at the Super Bowl last night.

The team are enroute back home from Las Vegas following the Super Bowl at the time of writing (12/2/24 @ 2150 UK time) via United Airlines flight UA3816, being operated by N776UA.

As per data from Planespotters.net, N776UA is a 27.9 year old Boeing 777-200 that was delivered to the U.S carrier back in April 1996.

Of the 777-200 variant, United Airlines have 74 in the fleet, of which 68 are in active service and six are currently parked, offering an average fleet age of 24.7 years.

The team played the San Francisco Giants last night in Las Vegas for Super Bowl 58, of which the new champions won following a touchdown in the last few seconds of overtime to secure their back-to-back trophy.

UA3816 departed LAS at 1256 local time, and is expected to land into MCI at 1739 local time, over an hour behind schedule.

From there, it is understood that a parade showing off the trophy will take place in the coming hours and days.

For now, fans of the team who couldn’t make it to Las Vegas for the Super Bowl are awaiting their team’s arrival for what is a historic moment for the NFL team.
