Airport Dimensions has opened a new lounge, under their My Lounge brand. Passengers can find the lounge in the departures area of London Luton Airport (LLA). No1 Lounges operate the lounge on behalf of My Lounge.

Swissport and Airport Dimensions operate both No1 Lounge and My Lounge in collaboration.

Passengers are able to access the lounge via the website, or enter with Priority Pass. Additionally, the lounge accepts the Lounge Key service.

Shaun Weston, Managing Director of No1 Lounges, a SwissportALD Holdings company commented:

“It’s amazing to see the hard work of the No1 Lounge team come to fruition at London Luton Airport. We’re excited to extend our portfolio of lounges with this addition and to continue our working relationship with London Luton Airport.”

“At No1 Lounges, our goal is to both develop a unique and stylish travel experience and we’re confident that the new My Lounge space at LLA will deliver an exceptional guest experience and create memorable travel moments for our guests.”

The lounge offers various amenities, including a gaming zone, powered by PlayStation. In this area, there is also a TV for those who would prefer to unwind watching a programme.

Additionally, there is plenty of seating space, a well stocked bar and food. Digital magazines are available via PressReader in over 60 languages.

Airport Refurbishment

London Luton Airport has been refurbishing and improving the passenger experience since 2016. The airport-wide £150 million refurbishment project is coming to completion.

The project has raised the passenger capacity to 18 million passengers annually. One of the final stages is finishing the departure area with new two storey restaurant area.

Jonathan Rayner, Chief Commercial Officer at London Luton Airport, commented:

“Providing passengers with even greater choice is a cornerstone of London Luton Airport’s responsible growth plans and the opening of this second lounge provides a stylish and relaxing additional space for travellers to enjoy as they pass through the airport.”

“This investment from No 1 Lounges is the latest in a series of terminal enhancements that we have delivered over recent months, all of which supports the simple, friendly passenger experience we are committed to delivering.”

“With LLA’s stunning No1 Lounge already established as a firm favourite with leisure and business travellers, the opening of My Lounge, ahead of the summer, is perfect timing as it looks set to become an instant, equally popular choice for our passengers.”

Further Expansion

The My Lounge at LLA is the latest expansion for No1 Lounges. They currently operate 16 lounges globally, 14 of which in the UK.

During a speech at the LLA My Lounge launch event, Shaun Weston hinted at further expansion at London Heathrow in 2025. Additionally, he hinted at further expansion but couldn’t reveal anything further.
