Via a placement made by Air Lease Corporation (ALC), LOT Polish Airlines are set to receive two more Boeing 737 MAX aircraft next year.
ALC mentioned in a statement put out this week that deliveries are expected in the middle of the year, and will add to the 11 737 MAX 8 aircraft & one 787-9 that are on lease from them.

Two Boeing 737 MAX To Be Delivered to LOT Polish Airlines…
Commenting on the placement announcement for LOT Polish Airlines with the Boeing 737 MAX aircraft was Steven F. Udvar-Hazy, the Executive Chairman of Air Lease Corporation:
“We are pleased to further expand our long-term relationship with LOT by leasing the airline an additional two new 737-8 jet aircraft.”
“ALC has played an important strategic role in LOT’s fleet modernization program, as LOT’s largest lessor, and these 737-8s will further enhance the airline’s fleet and network capabilities with new fuel-efficient narrowbody aircraft”.
As per data from Planespotters.net, the Polish carrier has the following Boeing 737 MAX aircraft in their fleet, of which all are on lease:
- SP-LVA
- SP-LVB
- SP-LVC
- SP-LVD
- SP-LVF
- SP-LVG
- SP-LVH
- SP-LVI
- SP-LVK
- SP-LVL
- SP-LVM
Growth at LOT Polish Airlines has been very steady, yet effective. However, the work is yet to be completed on this front.
The airline recently announced their strategy for 2024-2028, which will include new routes, aircraft and more.
All eyes will be on the carrier to see where this growth takes them.
