This week on March 18, Ryanair has celebrated carrying 500,000 passengers in and out of Kosice Airport (KSC) in Slovakia.

Alongside celebrating this major milestone for their Slovakian operations, Ryanair has also launched their new summer schedule at the airport.

The new schedule comes with the addition of one new route, alongside the previous four destinations that were operated last season.

The new route is to Zadar Airport (ZAD) in Croatia.

Zadar joins the Kosice summer schedule alongside the following –

  • Dublin in Ireland.
  • Liverpool in the United Kingdom.
  • Prague in the Czech Republic.
  • London Stansted in the United Kingdom.

This new summer schedule is expected to bring Ryanair’s Kosice passenger count to 100,000 per year. This will also support over 100 jobs at the airport.

The European ULCC (Ultra Low Cost Carrier), doesn’t just serve Kosice in Slovakia. The carrier also have a heavy footing in the country’s capital, Bratislava.
