Canada’s Lynx Air is set to expand its services to the United States this fall, offering new routes to popular destinations.

With its aim of providing affordable travel options, the ultra-low-cost carrier will connect Toronto Pearson International (YYZ) to Los Angeles International (LAX) and Phoenix Sky Harbor International (PHX).

Additionally, Lynx will offer flights from Montréal Pierre Trudeau International (YUL) to Las Vegas Harry Reid International (LAS).

The latest expansion comes after the successful launch of operations earlier this year, with routes from Calgary to Los Angeles, Phoenix, and Las Vegas, as well as from Toronto to Orlando.

Soak up the sun…

By venturing into these new markets, Lynx Air will significantly enhance its network, providing customers with increased flexibility and convenience.

Travelers from Eastern Canada can now easily access three of the most sought-after sun destinations in the Western United States. The airline will be the exclusive ultra-low-cost airline serving these routes, making it an attractive option for budget-conscious travelers.

As the weather changes in the fall, many Canadians seek adventure and sunshine in the southern regions. Lynx Air acknowledges this trend and aims to cater to the growing demand for affordable travel options.

98 weekly flights to the US

With the expansion, Lynx will operate 98 flights per week to and from the United States, offering over 18,000 seats in total. This extensive network ensures that travelers have ample choices and flexibility when planning their trips.

Merren McArthur, the CEO of Lynx Air, expressed enthusiasm about the new routes, stating, “We know Canadians love to travel south in search of adventure and sunshine as the weather changes in fall.”

“We are thrilled to be offering an ultra-affordable option connecting Eastern Canada to three of the most popular sun destinations in the Western United States.”

The expansion not only opens up new possibilities for travelers but also contributes to the growth of tourism and strengthens the bond between Canada and the United States.

Choosing Lynx Air comes with numerous benefits. By opting for Lynx, travelers can save on their journey, allowing them to allocate more of their budget toward enjoying their sun-soaked destination.

The airline’s commitment to ultra-low fares enables individuals and families to embark on memorable vacations without breaking the bank.

Furthermore, the convenient flight schedules and the extensive network of Lynx Air ensure that travelers can easily plan their itineraries and explore various destinations.

Lynx Air’s latest expansion of its Western United States network adds ‘sunshine destinations’ to its growing portfolio, to capitalize on those with a desire to follow the sun southwards, as we move off the summer season peak.
