On the evening of Saturday, December 16, premium carrier STARLUX Airlines inaugurates its Transpacific San Francisco to Taipei route.
With the maiden flight set to depart at 11:40PM local time, the momentous occasion will be marked with a celebration and pre-flight ceremony at San Francisco International Airport, commencing from 9:00 pm to 10:30 pm.

Inaugural Flight Highlights
International Terminal of SFO will host the inaugural celebration, with proceedings commencing at 9:00PM.
The departure gate will host a pre-flight ceremony, boasting speeches by luminaries connected to STARLUX and the city of San Francisco.

The event will see comments from key figures, including STARLUX Airlines’ CEO Glenn Chai, TECO’s Deputy General Director John Chu, San Francisco Mayor’s Office Director Mark Chandler, SFO Chief Operating Officer Jeff Littlefield, and Alaska Airlines’ Regional Vice President Neil Twaites.
The program will include traditional elements like a ribbon-cutting ceremony, symbolizing a seamless beginning, and a cake-cutting ceremony.
