New Bermuda start-up BermudAir has firmed an agreement with Ink Innovation, a prominent travel technology provider, to provide support for its airline operations.
In the post-pandemic era, the issue of support software for flight operations has become a critical issue, with several major airlines struggling with problematic aging systems; resulting in delays and disruptions.

BermudAir officially began ticket sales for its three direct routes on August 31, 2023. These routes connect Bermuda’s L.F. Wade International Airport with Boston Logan International, Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International, and Westchester County Airport in New York.
However, the story doesn’t end there. BermudAir is set to fly to all three destinations by September 22, marking a remarkable achievement in a relatively short span.
This endeavor follows a license grant on July 26, granting approval from the Bermuda Civil Aviation Authority (BCAA) for an Air Operating Certificate (AOC). The road to becoming Bermuda’s first airline was undoubtedly challenging, but BermudAir has emerged as a promising player in the aviation industry.

Collaboration with Ink Innovation

These cutting-edge applications enable BermudAir staff to manage passenger check-in, boarding, and baggage handling with speed and precision, thanks to automation.
BermudAir has also integrated Ink’s Departure Control platform with its hosted Go7’s Passenger Service System (PSS). This integration simplifies passenger bookings, reservations, ancillary sales, and ticketing processes.
In additionr, the Ink Load Control software empowers BermudAir to manage the weight and balance of its aircraft, optimizing fuel consumption for efficient operations.
