LONDON – Mesmerising footage of a Ukrainian Sukhoi Su-27 chaffing flares whilst hovering in the air has been shared on social media.
From what we can see in the footage, the aircraft begins to hover in the air and then deploys the flares, with smoke billowing from the jet.
After that, the aircraft proceeded to end its hover and fly onwards away.
Such posts on social media have had the caption Витязь зажигает, which in rough translation, means “Vityaz lights up”.
