Mikail Akbulut, CEO of Turkish Technic said the following on the milestone involving the Airbus A330P2F conversion:

“We are happy to reach a major milestone on the first conversion as we partner with EFW to meet high-level demand in the market.”

“Passenger-to-freighter conversions require a combination of industry-leading expertise, structural skills and operational excellence.”

“Leveraging our extensive know-how and strong collaboration with our partners and suppliers, we are fully equipped to deliver technical services and innovative solutions.”

“We’re looking forward to successfully completing the conversion and providing the best possible performance for our customers with our extensive structural and avionic modification capabilities.”

The P2F market has continued to evolve over the last few years as a strong stopgap for customers who may be waiting for next-generation freighters to be delivered.

For the Airbus A330P2F, this has proven to be popular amongst operators who work in that industry already, as well as for airlines who wish to dip their hands in the cargo market.

Looking ahead, all eyes will be on how many more P2Fs Turkish Technic will assist in as we progress through this year and beyond.
