Textron Aviation has celebrated the 30th anniversary of its factory-owned service center in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Located at Piedmont Triad International Airport, this facility supports customers in the mid-Atlantic region and provides maintenance and modification services from a dedicated team of experts.
Trust and Expertise
Over the years, Textron Aviation’s Greensboro Service Center has cultivated strong relationships with customers not only in Greensboro but throughout the southeastern region.
Customers have come to rely on the expertise of the dedicated team stationed here, knowing that they can always count on factory-direct service and support for their aircraft.

Jeff Dowden, the general manager of the Greensboro Service Center, attests to this trust, saying, “They know they can trust us to support them wherever they are.”
Robert Fiscella, a long-time Cessna Citation customer, echoes this sentiment, stating, “What better place than a company service center to take care of my Cessna?
“The team in Greensboro takes great interest in my aircraft and in their workmanship — every time my airplane leaves the service center, it looks like new.”
Evolution and Growth
The Greensboro facility started its journey in 1993 as a company-owned Cessna Citation Service Center.
Over the years, it has evolved and expanded its services to encompass scheduled maintenance, overhauls, modifications, AOG (Aircraft on Ground) support, paint, interior refurbishments, and avionics.
The service center caters for a range of current and legacy Textron Aviation customers and products, including Beechcraft and Hawker aircraft.
Tracy Leopold, vice president of North American Service Centers at Textron Aviation, emphasizes, “Our team is dedicated to providing superior customer service and support to customers 24/7. This 30th-anniversary milestone would not have been possible if not for their passion and knowledge.”
A Global Network
Textron Aviation’s support organization extends across the globe, with 20 company-owned full-service centers.
These centers boast expert service engineers who are committed to keeping customers in the air, ensuring their aircraft perform at the highest possible level.
Textron Aviation, through its Beechcraft and Cessna brands, is renowned for its unrivaled global service network dedicated to complete life-cycle support.
In addition to its expansive company-owned footprint, Textron Aviation’s jet and turboprop customers have access to a global network of more than 300 authorized service facilities.
Textron Aviation also offers a mobile support program featuring more than 40 mobile service units and on-site service technicians and support.
