Honda Aircraft Company today announced two new authorized sales representatives (ASR) for HondaJet sales activities in Southeast Asia.

The two new appointed outlets will provide sales coverage and product support jointly across the region.

Thailand and Singapore representation

Based in Bangkok, Thailand, Forth Corporation Public Company Limited will represent HondaJet sales in Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Myanmar.

The Singapore-based WingsOverAsia Pte Ltd will represent HondaJet sales in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Brunei and the Philippines.

Honda Aircraft Company is continuing to strengthen its presence in Southeast Asia in response to the growing demand for the HondaJet.

The latest sales representation announcement comes after the appointment in 2022 of Malaysia-based KarbonMRO as the exclusive authorized service center (ASC) for Southeast Asia.

HondaJet global fleet

The HondaJet global fleet has now collectively exceeded 170,000 flight hours and has grown to 230 aircraft worldwide, with Honda Aircraft Company remaining committed to improving customer satisfaction across its growing base.

Recently, the company has added a new FAA-certified HondaJet Level D full flight simulator at its Greensboro, NC (U.S.) headquarters and expanded its service network to 21 locations worldwide.

All Honda Aircraft Company’s sales and service footprint now spans the Americas, Europe, and Asia.

Peter Kriegler, VP of Sales of Honda Aircraft Company spoke of the overall depth of the business aviation markets in the Southeast Asia region, which has perhaps pre-empted the move to further broaden the company’s regional sales profile.

“Southeast Asia is a dynamic market for business aviation, and we are excited to expand our presence in the region to deepen our connections with local customers, ” said Mr Kriegler.

“Forth Corporation and WingsOverAsia bring valuable local expertise to the HondaJet sales network in Southeast Asia, and we are delighted to have them join us on this journey.”

About the HondaJet

The HondaJet is a light business jet manufactured by Honda Aircraft Company, a subsidiary of the Honda Motor Company. It is their first foray into the aviation industry.

The HondaJet has a unique design with over-the-wing engine mounts, which improve aerodynamics and fuel efficiency. It is powered by two GE Honda HF120 turbofan engines, providing a maximum thrust of 2,050 pounds each.

With a cruising speed of approximately 420 knots and a maximum altitude of 43,000 feet, it offers impressive performance.

The cabin of the HondaJet is designed to accommodate a pilot and up to six passengers. It features a spacious and sleek interior, thanks to the Over-The-Wing Engine Mount (OTWEM) configuration. The aircraft’s cabin has ample width, height, and length, with a fully enclosed lavatory at the rear.

Equipped with the Garmin G3000 avionics system, the HondaJet offers a state-of-the-art glass cockpit with touchscreen displays providing flight information, navigation, and communication data.

It also incorporates Honda’s proprietary HondaJet Operating System, enhancing pilot awareness and safety.

The HondaJet boasts a maximum range of approximately 1,223 nautical miles and is known for its fuel efficiency, contributing to reduced operating costs.

Its construction features advanced safety measures, such as an all-composite fuselage, natural laminar flow wings, and an advanced anti-ice system. Fly-by-wire flight controls and a stability augmentation system further enhance the aircraft’s performance.

Forth Corporation – Thailand

COO Amatanon spoke of the imminent suitability of the HondaJet model with respect to the Southeast Asian region, further adding: “The HondaJet’s impressive fuel efficiency and range make it perfectly suited for this region.”

“Forth Corporation’s partnership with Honda Aircraft promises to bring new values to the market, and we are committed to providing exceptional sales support for HondaJet customers through our proven expertise in aviation.”

WingsOverAsia – Singapore
