Gulfstream to debut G700 at Dubai Airshow

Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. is set for its appearance at the upcoming Dubai Airshow scheduled from November 13 to 17.

With a rich history in the Middle East and the surrounding regions, Gulfstream will exhibit two of its most renowned business jets – the Gulfstream G700 and the Gulfstream G500.

This exhibition not only highlights Gulfstream’s commitment to the region but also underscores their dedication to innovation and excellence in the world of aviation.

The Gulfstream G700 – Ultralong-Range Travel

The Gulfstream G700, often referred to as a masterpiece in ultralong-range travel, has recently made remarkable enhancements.

One of the most impressive updates is the expansion of its range, now boasting a capability of 7,750 nautical miles (14,353 kilometers) at Mach 0.85 or 6,650 nautical miles (12,316 kilometers) at Mach 0.90.


These improvements, offering an additional 250 nautical miles (463 kilometers) at both speeds over the original projections, make the G700 an even more attractive choice for travelers seeking extended global reach.

But the enhancements don’t stop there. The G700’s maximum operating speed has been elevated to Mach 0.935 from Mach 0.925, cementing its position as the fastest jet in the Gulfstream fleet.

With such unprecedented speed and range, the Gulfstream G700 is setting new standards for ultralong-range business jets.

The Gulfstream G500

Complementing the G700 in the Dubai Airshow line-up is the Gulfstream G500, known for its class-leading performance and efficiency.

This remarkable aircraft holds almost 60 city-pair speed records, underlining its prowess in delivering swift and comfortable travel.

The G500 can effortlessly cover distances of up to 5,300 nautical miles (9,816 kilometers) at Mach 0.85 and 4,500 nautical miles (8,334 kilometers) at Mach 0.90.

One of the standout features of the G500 is its advanced technology, making it the first aircraft to be certified for enhanced vision to land.

This innovation enhances safety and accuracy during landing procedures.

Furthermore, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has recently certified the G500 for steep approaches, expanding its operational capabilities and granting access to even more destinations around the world.
