Eviation Aircraft & MONTE this week announced that they have signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) for up to 30 all-electric commuter Alice aircraft.
The LOI marks a significant milestone for Eviation, as it is the first commitment for Alice from a leasing company.
MONTE will provide financing and leasing solutions for Alice and its associated charging infrastructure to its global customer base of regional aircraft operators.
The Alice is a nine-passenger electric aircraft that is designed to operate on short-haul routes with zero carbon emissions.
It is the only flight-proven all-electric commuter aircraft of its size.
“We are delighted to partner with MONTE, a leading leasing company that is committed to sustainable aviation,” said Omer Bar-Yosef, CEO of Eviation Aircraft.
“This LOI is a major endorsement of Alice and its potential to transform the regional air travel market.”
“We are excited to be the first leasing company to commit to the Alice,” said Rishi Majithia, CEO of MONTE.
“The Alice is a game-changing aircraft that has the potential to revolutionize regional air travel.”
“We believe that Alice will play a key role in our mission to reduce the carbon emissions of the aviation industry.”
About the Eviation Alice…
The Alice is expected to enter service in 2024.
Their flagship aircraft, the Alice, is a nine-passenger commuter plane that is powered by two electric motors.
The Alice has a range of 250 nautical miles and can fly at speeds of up to 260 knots. It is expected to enter service in 2024.
The Alice has a number of advantages over traditional aircraft. It is much quieter than a traditional aircraft, making it ideal for use in urban areas.
It is also much more efficient, using less fuel and producing zero emissions. This makes it a much more sustainable option for travel.
The Alice is not the only electric aircraft in development, but it is one of the most promising.
If it is successful, it could have a major impact on the aviation industry. It could help to reduce the carbon emissions of the industry and make air travel more sustainable.
In addition to its environmental benefits, Alice could also have a number of other advantages.
It is smaller and lighter than a traditional aircraft, making it easier to operate and maintain. It is also more fuel-efficient, which could lead to lower operating costs.
The Alice is still under development, but it has the potential to revolutionize the aviation industry. It could be a major step towards a more sustainable future for air travel.
