Embraer introduces the Phenom 100EX

Embraer’s Very Light Jet aircraft the Phenom 100EX will make a historical debut at the 2023 NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE) from October 17th to 19th in Las Vegas, Nevada. 

New features of this high-tech aircraft include enhanced cabin comfort and new pilot-centric avionics features that will deliver comfort and the ultimate flying experience for both pilots and passengers themselves. 

The Phenom 100 Family


The Phenom 100EX is the latest evolution from the Phenom 100 series, which has served Embraer’s most loyal clients since 2008. Embraer has delivered over 400 units throughout the years up until today. 

The company designed the Phenom 100s with its owner pilots, private companies, and flight academies such as the Royal Air Force, Emirates, Etihad, and the Finnish Aviation Academy in mind. 

The Phenom 100 family aircraft is one of the most trusted very light jet and entry-level family of aircraft out in the market.

Despite its petite size, the latest Phenom 100EX delivers superior cabin comfort, with high operational versatility. Moreover, its pilot-centric avionics allows owners or operators to enjoy every second on board the aircraft.  

The current design of the Phenom 100EX is the result of continuous and endless improvements based on feedback. 

Moreover, the current aircraft incorporates Embraer’s classic design language, which reflects on the finest details in the cabin, and touchpoints into sleek upper tech panels as well as the design of the tech panels and the seat designs. 

The materials used for the buttons are sustainability designed in terms of material compositions. Spaces are being optimized, such as the flush-to-the-wall tables being installed to maximize workspaces. 

Not only performances of the aircraft are being improved, but interior enhancements as well. This includes the baseline side-facing fifth seat and belted lavatory for additional passenger capacity.

The Interior


Interior of the new aircraft futures the best-in-class OvalLite cross-section, which provides customers with further head and legroom. Along with airstair and greater baggage compartment space. 

Safety and tech are packed in the Phenom 100EX’s interior. This is one of the best in the class with a leading  Runway Overrun Awareness and Alerting System (ROAAS) system. This system comes alive during critical moments of flight, especially during landing.

A Pilot’s Dream


The cockpit is designed equally to cater to the pilot’s comfort with additional legroom and also to keep safety in mind. Embraer adapts an open-concept cockpit for easier communication with passengers. 

Moreover, with the redesigned cabin, the aircraft consists of pilot-centric avionics as part of the Prodigy Touch, based on the renowned Garmin 3000. 

Pilots can also enjoy other avionics improvements, which include FlightStream 510, automatic 3D volumetric scanning with lightning and hail prediction, stabilized approach, predictive wind shear, and many more. 

The Phenom 100EX is one of a kind. It is a light jet that will be loved by pilots and passengers alike!
