Bombardier, a global leader in business aviation, unveiled a fresh brand identity with a modernized logo at its core.

This shift reflects the company’s successful transition to solely focus on designing, building, and servicing a range of business jets.

The new identity seeks to strengthen and underscore Bombardier’s unique approach.

Bombardier’s leadership in business aviation stems from its exceptional portfolio of smooth-flying jets, a recently expanded global service network, and the continued success of its Bombardier Defense team.

Recognizing Bombardier’s People

Throughout its history, Bombardier has balanced bold innovation with its entrepreneurial roots and family values.

The new brand identity celebrates the achievements of their passionate and skilled teams, who consistently set the standard for high-performance jets and world-class service.

“This is a landmark day for our incredible team of over 18,000 passionate Bombardier members,” said Éric Martel, President and CEO of Bombardier.

“Our iconic company confidently embraces the future with an innovative spirit, perfectly captured in our new logo and brand evolution.”

“When we ask our global clients what sets Bombardier apart, the concept of ‘like family’ consistently surfaces as a true differentiator for them.”

Martel continued, “Bombardier’s success wouldn’t be possible without our exceptional people. They are true masters. They blend cutting-edge technology with a highly personalized and passionate approach to aircraft interior design, defense modifications, 24/7 service, and more.”

“Our new brand identity honors these high standards set by our own team members.”

A New Logo: Innovation and Heritage

The new logo celebrates the company’s successful shift towards building, designing, servicing, and modifying the world’s leading business jets.

The symbol itself, named the Bombardier Mach, features a silhouette of an aircraft breaking the sound barrier – a tribute to the ambition and innovative spirit of Bombardier’s talent.

Additionally, strokes of wind flowing over the aircraft subtly reference the company’s rich heritage and the iconic winglet design of the Learjet brand.

“This evolved brand is a catalyst for Bombardier to solidify itself as a global leader, not only within the aerospace and defense industries, but also proudly standing amongst the world’s most inspiring brands,” said Ève Laurier, Bombardier’s Vice President of Communications, Marketing, and Public Affairs.

“Our brand has been meticulously crafted to seamlessly connect our heritage with precision-driven engineering.”

“It portrays our future, where we will showcase the increasing sophistication of our technology, how our employees master their craft, and, most importantly, prioritize the customer experience.”

Laurier added, “The impactful new logo echoes the immense pride and passion we share for the industry.”

“It will be further supported by a series of evocative images. These will feature Bombardier’s own team members at the peak of their respective crafts.”

“Their dedication to elevating performance and sustainability in business aviation, services, and defense continues to redefine the industry.”

The new logo’s bespoke typeface further emphasizes the fusion of technology with customer experience and sophistication.

The typeface is both modern and refined, with subtle serifs. These connect to the symbolism of the logo and highlight Bombardier’s commitment to precision.

Forward-Looking and Forward-Thinking

The Bombardier Global 8000 aircraft exemplifies this vision. This “flagship of a new era” is poised to enter service in the second half of 2025. It will offer the industry’s fastest speed, longest range, and smoothest ride.

Furthermore, Bombardier continues to lead the way in future aircraft design through the groundbreaking EcoJet research project.

This initiative utilizes the blended-wing-body configuration to achieve a potential emission reduction of up to 50%*.

Bombardier Defense will also continue its mission as a trusted and adaptable partner for governments and militaries around the world.

The group will operate under the established Bombardier Defense banner, offering innovative capabilities on aircraft like the Bombardier Global 6500.

These advancements are revolutionizing possibilities in the areas of surveillance, reconnaissance, and multi-mission operations.
