It has been revealed that Boeing CEO Dave Calhoun will testify at a US Senate hearing on June 18.

He will be speaking to politicians about the series of incidents regarding safety and quality at the planemaker.

As per Reuters, it is understood that Boeing CEO Dave Calhoun will testify about the issues ongoing at Boeing.

The topic of discussion will be the Alaska Airlines Boeing 737 MAX 9 blowout back in January.

Within that topic also comes the revelations that have been released about manufacturing and safety practices.

It also comes following the submission of the 90-day comprehensive plan to the Federal Aviation Administration as well.

Alongside Dave Calhoun will be Howard McKenzie, the Boeing Chief Engineer, but it is understood he will not be providing testimony.
