The new Boeing ‘BBJ Select’ cabin option is expected to streamline the design and completion process which will enhance and speed up delivery times.
Ahead of the NBAA in Las Vegas, Boeing Business Jets (BBJ) customers have a new and efficient way to design and customize their aircraft interiors for the BBJ 737-7.
According to Boeing, this will reduce costs and accelerate the delivery of its business jets.
The BBJ Select is exclusively developed for the BBJ 737-7 line, where customers can select a wide range of pre-designed cabin layouts and configurations, which will speed up the installation process.
This will also lower the purchase price of the aircraft which will make the BBJ more competitive to its peers.
The general public can view the new BBJ select premium interiors at the National Business Aviation Association Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE) in Las Vegas.
BBJ President Joe Benson stated with optimism: “Boeing Business Jets is offering customers a new, streamlined approach to designing a unique, comfortable and functional interior for our BBJ 737-7 jet,”
“For customers who may not have the time or desire to create a fully bespoke interior, BBJ Select offers pre-designed options to outfit their cabin, which allows us to offer the jet at a very attractive, fixed price.”
What can guests expect?
Customers buying the BBJ can now expect even more luxurious offerings.
This ranges from guest rooms and private offices to family rooms and VIP passenger seating configurations.
Customers can select modules for each selection of airplane and customize it to their own liking.
In fact, BBJ Select Offers 144 unique modular cabin combinations and gives liberty to its clients to choose three different color palettes, which cover the theme of personal, business, and governmental (head-of-state) requirements.
How are costs reduced?
Passengers can design in lieu of a Boeing-certified design team at the award-winning business jet completion centers Aloft AeroArchitects and Greenpoint Technologies.
Working with these completion centers will reduce costs for one-time engineering and related work for the installation involving a clean sheet cabin design.
Despite lots of parties involved, Boeing will simplify the purchase experience for its customers.
With one contract with Boeing, the U.S. aircraft manufacturer will walk its clients through the design, build, and the delivery of the client’s new VIP jet through BBJ Select.
BBJ Select and the BBJ 737-7
The BBJ select cabinets come exclusively available only for the BBJ 737-7- its latest member of the BBJ 737-7 MAX family.
The 737-7 MAX BBJ aircraft is crafted with precision and has unrivaled fuel efficiency.
The 737-7 BBJ has a globe-spanning range that outperforms its competitors and has superior cabin space and best-in-class operating economics.
In fact, the aircraft can fly over 15 hours nonstop while reducing fuel consumption.
The MAX family emits lower carbon emissions compared to previous generations of aircraft and competitors.
The BBJ is one of the first airliner-converted business jets in the market, which proves its reliability in the market.
