Storm Kathleen: American B777 Dallas-Dublin Diverts to Paris

An American Airlines Boeing 777 operating AA132 between Dallas and Dublin has diverted to Paris as Storm Kathleen starts to take hold in the area.

The storm made landfall into Ireland this morning, and is beginning to cause disruption to flights.

American Airlines flight AA132 is a routine scheduled flight between Dallas Fort-Worth and Dublin.

The affected rotation that diverted to Paris due to Storm Kathleen was operated by N768AA.

As per data from Planespotters.net, N768AA is a 17.9 year old Boeing 777-200 that was delivered to the airline in May 2006.

Of the 777-200 variant, American Airlines has 47 of them in the fleet, of which all but three are in active service.

Furthermore, average fleet age for the variant at the airline stands at 23.4 years.

American Airlines flight AA132, which was involved in the Paris diversion due to Storm Kathleen, departed Dallas at 1920 local time yesterday evening.

On approach into DUB, no landing attempt was made.

As per @Shauns_Aviation on X, the aircraft performed three rounds of holding before flying away from the Irish airport.

Furthermore, American Airlines flight AA132 Dallas-Dublin landed safely into Paris CDG without further incident.
