Ryanair Boeing 737 MAX Declares Emergency, Diverts to Charleroi

Ryanair Boeing 737 MAX diverts to Charleroi.

LONDON – In the last hour, a Ryanair Boeing 737 MAX has declared an emergency and has diverted to Brussels Charleroi.

Data provided by RadarBox.com.

The 737 MAX was 9H-VUN, a Ryanair Boeing 737 MAX on the Maltese register, operating FR6696 between Luqa and Edinburgh.

9H-VUN is a relatively new airframe, aged 1.3 years old at the time of writing, having been delivered to Ryanair back in October 2021.

At this time, it is unclear what the reason is for the emergency, although it is serious enough to cause a diversion into Charleroi.

This is a developing story. More to follow.
