An Emirates Airbus A380 from Dubai has been met by emergency services vehicles at Birmingham Airport (BHX) after experiencing what appears to be a tyre burst on landing.
The A380 aircraft, operating as flight EK39 from Dubai (DXB) to Birmingham (BHX) appears to have burst a tyre on landing earlier today.
Footage posted to social media shows the aircraft making its approach and landing at Birmingham, before being met on the taxiway by light emergency services vehicles following the landing.

A380 back after 3-year hiatus
Birmingham Airport recently welcomed back the Airbus A380 long haul wide-body aircraft of UAE national flag carrier Emirates after a three-year hiatus from the Midlands airport.
On July 2, the airport took to its social media accounts to welcome back the Emirates heavy long-haul aircraft, saying: “The big one is back. Emirates iconic A380 has returned to #BHX following a three-year absence.”

The Emirates A380 heavy is now operating daily flight services from Dubai to Birmingham after its long absence.
