Boliviana de Aviacion flight OB625 is a routine scheduled flight between La Paz and Cochabamba.

The aircraft affected by this is registered as CP-3138.

As per data from Planespotters.net, CP-3138 is a 21.7 year old Boeing 737-800 that started out life with Yemenia back in August 2002.

By March 2011, the aircraft was handed over to Air Jamaica, before being returned to lessor AerCap in October 2015.

Furthermore, by November of that year, Thai carrier NewGen Airways took over the jet.

This lasted until June 2019, when Carlyle Aviation Partners took ownership of the aircraft and handed it to Boliviana de Aviacion by December of that same year.

Reporting from The Aviation Herald states that this incident occurred during the takeoff phase in La Paz.

The Boeing 737-800 collided with a number of dogs that had made it onto the runway.

It is understood this caused damage to the landing gear and other parts of the aircraft.

CP-3138 has not been seen on the radar screens since the incident, whilst damage is being assessed.

Furthermore, the affected passengers were placed on a replacement aircraft, and arrived into Cochabamba from La Paz three hours late.
