In the last few moments, it has emerged that an Air France Boeing 777 between Paris CDG and Detroit has turned north and is diverting to Reykjavik, Iceland.

AF378 is being operated by F-GSPX, one of Air France’s Boeing 777-228ER aircraft. At the time of writing, the aircraft is to the south-west of Reykjavik, Iceland.
As per data from Planespotters.net, F-GSPX is a 21.5 year old airframe, having been delivered to the French carrier new back in March 2002.
At this stage, it is unclear what the reason for the diversion is, but there was a 7700 emergency squawk transmission earlier, but the aircraft has since changed to a normal squawk code.
