KlasJet, a private and corporate flight charter company and a leading aircraft, crew, maintenance, and insurance (ACMI) leasing service provider, has recently commenced ACMI operations in Canada.
This operational development comes after the company successfully obtained a Canadian foreign air operator certificate (FAOC) and is now actively welcoming inquiries from interested clients.
KlasJet’s Strategic Expansion
The CEO of KlasJet, Justinas Bulka, underlined the significance of this new chapter for the company.
In his words, “As the aviation market experiences robust, daily-growing demand, and airlines grapple with challenges like managing seasonality, ACMI provides the flexibility airlines need to seize opportunities in today’s positive market without added risk”.
“One of our core long-term strategic goals at KlasJet is to extend our services to various regions globally. The ability to offer services in Canada enhances our appeal to potential future partners.”
Currently, KlasJet operates a diverse 14-aircraft fleet. This fleet includes five classic and one BBJ Boeing 737, boasting capacities ranging from 23 to 68 seats.
Additionally, KlasJet manages eight Boeing 737-800s with a capacity of 186 or 189 passengers for ACMI leasing.
This strategic fleet composition allows KlasJet to cater to a spectrum of aviation needs with efficiency and precision.
KlasJet also proudly stands as a part of the Avia Solutions Group family, recognized as the world’s largest ACMI provider, operating an extensive fleet of 192 aircraft.
Beyond ACMI services, the group offers a comprehensive array of aviation services, including maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO), pilot and crew training, and ground handling.
Supported by 11,500 highly skilled aviation professionals, the group’s global presence extends to 68 countries, solidifying its status as an aviation industry leader.
Impact on the Canadian Aviation Sector
With the acquisition of the Canadian foreign air operator certificate, KlasJet is poised to make a transformative impact on the Canadian aviation landscape.
The company’s commitment to flexibility, efficiency, and top-notch service positions it as a prime choice for airlines seeking reliable ACMI solutions.
As airlines in Canada grapple with the challenges of a dynamic market, KlasJet emerges as a valuable partner, offering tailored solutions to navigate the complexities of the aviation industry.
