C-130H Hercules and Citation 550

Manufactured by Lockheed Martin, the C-130H Hercules stands as a four-engine turboprop military transport aircraft. With an impressive capacity of 4,000 gallons (15,000 liters), it is celebrated as one of the world’s most powerful aerial firefighting aircraft.

The aircraft’s range, versatility, and suppression ability per drop make it an indispensable asset in tackling wildfires.

The collaboration between the C-130H Hercules and Citation 550 represents a formidable duo in aerial firefighting.

Its speed and maneuverability enable highly trained air attack teams to efficiently direct firefighting helicopters and airplanes from above, ensuring safety, and maximizing operational efficiency.

Operating as the sole aerial firefighting company employing large airtankers with air attack lead aircraft globally, Coulson Aviation takes pride in its innovative approach.

The use of the Citation 550 alongside the C-130H not only enhances coordination but also significantly boosts productivity during firefighting responses.

Coulson’s RADS-XXL System

The C-130H Hercules is role equipped with Coulson’s state-of-the-art 4,000-gallon Retardant Aerial Delivery System (RADS-XXL).

Renowned as the most widely used and highest-volume tanking system for Large AirTankers (LATs) worldwide, the RADS-XXL provides real-time flow rate, superior drop zone coverage, and reduces overall pilot workload.

Cost-Effective and Efficient

Coulson’s RADS-XXL sets itself apart by offering unparalleled efficiency at half the cost and one-sixth the weight of competing systems.

Notably, it requires no additional crew or equipment, ensuring a cost-effective and streamlined firefighting operation. The real-time monitoring capabilities further enhance the precision and effectiveness of aerial firefighting efforts.
