This contract translates to the purchase of over 11,000 square feet of off-airport space. This means that Comlux’s competitiveness increased drastically, which makes this expansion extremely strategic for the company.

Adam White, CEO of Comlux Completion expressed enthusiasm about the Company’s trajectory: “We are very excited to enter the next stages of our aggressive multi-year growth plan.”

“What is key is not only hiring and retaining highly skilled, dedicated employees but also providing them with the space and equipment to execute their trade with the highest precision.”

“This is the latest step on our journey to modernize our infrastructure to continue to provide our customers with the highest level of quality, a true VVIP experience.”

ACJ TwoTwenty and more

The ACJ (Airbus Corporate Jet) TwoTwenty seems to be garnering lots of attention at the forefront of Comlux’s excellence in design and completion. Comlux is not only focusing on the TwoTwenty but also other aircraft.

The A220 has an expanding backlog, and in fact, sold two units very recently. Bryan Peterson, COO of Comlux Completion, emphasized the strategic focus of the expansion: “We embarked on a mission to standardize our installation structure and standardize parts over 2 years ago.”

“The main production efforts in this new facility will start with these critical parts. For BBJ and ACJ Completions, Maintenance, or Upgrades, increasing the ability to manufacture the parts we need will ensure we continue to maintain our schedules and continue to redeliver on time”.

Comlux, being an all-rounded one-stop company has a sales and acquisitions, aircraft operations and charter management, cabin interior, maintenance, and upgrades department.

In fact, one of the world’s most iconic BBJ (Boeing Business Jet) is owned and operated by Comlux called the Skylady, which is a 767-200BBJ with a registration of P4-CLA.

Comlux is also responsible for retrofitting many airline-to-business jet conversions and is well known for the completion of ‘large business jets’.

Despite being a Swiss company with a completion center in Indianapolis, its global outreach is worldwide and operates 24/7.

Summary

With the company investing in its facilities in Indianapolis, this signals a trend for the growth of very wide business jet cabins and the demand for pre-owned (or ex-factory) airliners executive aircraft.

This growth is targeted towards its Middle Eastern and Asian clients where cabin width plays a huge role in aircraft selection.
