From inception in 2019

The AIRTAXI World Congress was first held in 2019 in London & rotates annually between international Host countries.

It is organized by Global Travel Investments (GTI), a venture capital with extensive track record in eVTOLs, investors, airlines & airports. More than 300 key guests attended the 2022 edition in Istanbul, Turkey which featured the world’s first Vertical Airshow.

The 2023 California event will also carry a new element for delegates called the Investors Lounge. This will see the provision of a dedicated VIP area for investors, venture capitalists, banks and VIPs.

The Urban Air Mobility market

The Urban Air Mobility sector, characterized by the development of Electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing eVTOL vehicles and complementary infrastructure and technology is expected to blossom across the coming decade.

As designers draw closer to prototype approvals and mass production, this will certainly be an aviation sector to watch carefully.

As the focus on the sector becomes stronger – in part driven by the urgency to move to ‘greener’ air travel and mobility options – so too has the AIRTAXI World Conference grown in size since its inception a few short years ago in 2019.

Whilst hampered by the global pandemic, the past two years statistics speak to the growing interest in the UAM sector:
