UPDATE #1 @ 1658 UK time – United Airlines flight UA3941 between Frankfurt and New York is descending out of FL250, with London Heathrow looking like the area for diversion.
UPDATE #2 @ 1659 UK time – As per Planespotters, N76054, the Boeing 767-400ER operating this route, is a 22.8 year old airframe, which was first delivered to Continental Airlines back in December 2000.
UPDATE #3 @ 1701 UK time – At this stage, it is unclear what the cause of the emergency is, but is serious enough to not continue onwards to New York from Frankfurt.

UPDATE #4 @ 1703 UK time – United Airlines UA3941 between Frankfurt and New York Newark is currently tracking to the East of Stansted, passing through FL160.
UPDATE #5 @ 1707 UK time – UA3941 is passing through FL80 as London Heathrow gets confirmed as the diversion airfield.
UPDATE #6 @ 1709 UK time – Still awaiting confirmation on why UA3941 between Frankfurt and New York has declared an emergency.
