Earlier this week, a United Airlines Boeing 737 MAX 9 flying between Boston and San Francisco made an emergency landing in Denver.
Information has been released pertinent to this particular incident.

United Airlines flight UA625, which made an emergency landing in Denver, is a routine scheduled flight between Boston and San Francisco.
N17574 was the Boeing 737 MAX 9 which operated the flight.
As per data from Planespotters.net, N17574 is a 0.6 year old airframe which was delivered to the airline in October 2023.
Furthermore, of the 737 MAX 9 variant, United Airlines has 79 in the fleet.
Of that 79, all but four are in active service, offering an average fleet age of 2.8 years.
UA625 departed Boston at 0634 local time on May 21 and tracked westbound initially to San Francisco.
Over the Colorado area, the aircraft made a u-turn and proceeded to descend into Denver instead.
It is understood the aircraft landed safely without incident after nearly four and a half hours in the air.
As per the Irish Star, it is understood that the emergency landing into Denver was due to a mechanical problem onboard.
Grounded For The Rest of the Day…
Data from RadarBox shows that following the emergency landing into Denver by United Airlines UA625 Boston-San Francisco, N17574 was grounded for the rest of the day.
However, in the evening, the aircraft operated short flights to and from Colorado Springs, presumably to test the aircraft.
Since then, the aircraft has been functioning well in commercial service.
No other incidents or emergencies have been reported as of yet with this airframe.
It is to be assumed that the mechanical issue has been rectified.
