UPDATE #1 @ 1455 UK time – Transavia flight T04361 has been in a hold to the north of Sharm el-Sheikh airport for some time now, with no reasoning behind the emergency yet.

UPDATE #2 @ 1457 UK time – The Paris-bound flight continues to hold over the North of the airport. Must be serious enough to cause holds to burn fuel and not continue onwards to its destination.

UPDATE #3 @ 1458 UK time – As per data from Planespotters, F-HTVV is a 10.8 year old airframe, which originally started out life with Norwegian Air back in January 2013. It was delivered to Transavia France in January 2021.

UPDATE #4 @ 1501 UK time – T04361 looks to be coming out of the hold and is descending through 8,200 feet at the moment.

UPDATE #5 @ 1502 UK time – T04361 looks to be doing a pass overhead Sharm el-Sheikh before setting itself up for the approach and subsequent emergency landing.

UPDATE #6 @ 1506 UK time – T04361 on the tight downwind for its approach into the Egyptian airport. Still no indicator of emergency as of yet.

UPDATE #7 @ 1509 UK time – T04361 is turning onto final now for its emergency landing around 45 minutes after departure.

UPDATE #8 @ 1515 UK time – TOUCHDOWN! Transavia flight T04361 to Paris Orly has safely touched down back into Sharm el-Sheikh following it’s emergency broadcast over 45 minutes ago.
