A Lufthansa scheduled flight from Barcelona to Frankfurt made a precautionary diversion to Toulouse on Sunday, 21 April 2024.
Lufthansa flight LH1125, an Airbus A320 from Barcelona El Prat airport was en route to Frankfurt when it declared a general emergency.

Having made a normal departure and climb on the flight plan track, the aircraft declared an emergency with squawk code 7700. The flight was in French airspace near Toulouse at the time of the declaration.
Diversion to Toulouse TLS
The flight crew then manoeuvered the aircraft for an approach to the alternate diversion airport of Toulouse was negotiated by the flight crew.
The nature of the emergency prompting the expedited diversion into Toulouse is not yet known.
Flight data for the service shows that flight LH1125 made a slightly delayed departure out of Barcelona El Prat airport on 21 April.
The flight made an actual departure time of 1115 local time, against the scheduled departure time of 1025.
Flight LH1125 then made a normal departure and climbed to FL300 (30,000 feet) for the northerly service to Frankfurt.
At 0941 UTC, the flight crew initiated a descent into French airspace and transmitted transponder code 7700.
The aircraft was on descent through FL210, at which time it initiated a diversion to Toulouse–Blagnac Airport (TLS).

This is a 23-year-old narrowbody aircraft belonging to the German national carrier. It has been in service with Lufthansa since December 2000.
