Jet2 flight LS930, which made an emergency landing, is a routine scheduled flight between Reus and Manchester Airport.

It is understood the aircraft involved in this incident was G-LSAN.

As per data from Planespotters.net, G-LSAN is a 30.2 year old Boeing 757-200 that started out life with Transavia in April 1994.

By November 2003, the aircraft was handed over to ATA Airlines and then to Axis Airways in April 2005.

December 2007 saw the aircraft be transferred over to Brazilian carrier OceanAir, before heading to Avianca in October 2008.

By March 2010, the aircraft was then sent to AeroGal, before finally being sent to Jet2 in May 2012.

LS930 departed Reus at 1316 local time this afternoon and headed up to Manchester Airport.

During it’s approach into the UK airport, the crew notified ATC that they would need emergency services on arrival.

LS930 landed safely into Manchester Airport at 1422 local time.

As per @FlightEmergency on X, it is understood Jet2 flight LS930 Reus-Manchester received a landing gear indicator issue.

This would suggest that the landing gear wasn’t down and locked, which required the emergency services.

At this time, this remains a developing story as more information comes out on this.
