A Jet2 scheduled flight from Palma de Mallorca to Glasgow has declared the general emergency and is now on diversion to Manchester.
A Jet2 Boeing 737-800 operating as flight LS190 from Palma de Mallorca (PMI) to Glasgow (GLA) has declared a general emergency in the last few minutes, squawking 7700 as it passes over northern England enroute.
The aircraft appears to be making an unscheduled diversion to Manchester at this time. The nature of the emergency is as yet unknown.

The aircraft is a 6-year old Jet2 Boeing 737-800, registered G-JZHT. The flight is currently on descent for an approach to Manchester.

After a fairly rapid diversion and descent, the aircraft is now on the ground at Manchester.
