UPDATE #1 @ 1856 UK time – Air Canada flight AC843 from Frankfurt to Toronto will be diverting to Dublin as a result of this emergency, with the cause currently unknown.
UPDATE #2 @ 1858 UK time – As per data from Planespotters, C-FIVM is a 15.5 year old Boeing 777-300ER.
Of the Boeing 777-300ER variant, the Canadian carrier has 19 of them, of which 17 are in active service and two are parked, holding a current average age of 13.4 years.

UPDATE #7 @ 1924 UK time – Early indications suggest it could be a medical emergency as the Air Canada flight from Frankfurt looks set to depart from Dublin and continue on to Toronto later on tonight.

UPDATE #8 @ 1927 UK time – AC843 transiting through Northern Ireland passing through FL170-180 as it continues the descent down into Dublin.
UPDATE #9 @ 1928 UK time – Medical emergency confirmed as the cause of this diversion into the Irish airport. Expected departure thereafter 2100 local time.
