Embraer has this week announced that it will be adding a new autothrottle system to it’s Phenom 300E aircraft.
It is understood that this will be implemented to enable pilots “to enjoy a more automated and intuitive flying experience through the autothrottle’s advanced automation technology”.

It is understood that this new system will be available as an optional feature in the third quarter of 2024, and will provide a service bulletin on this by 4Q24.
Commenting on this was Michael Amalfitano, the President & CEO of Embraer Executive Jets:

Embraer continues to showcase the successes within the Phenom 300E program, and adding features such as this new autothrottle is part of that program.
The aircraft has been labeled the best-selling light jet for 11 years in a row and is also the most-flown private jet in the U.S.
This amounts to around 700 units in operation and over 2 million flight hours logged for this specific aircraft.
All eyes will be on Embraer to see how this will look in the commercial world when it is released to prospective customers.
