As per RadarBox.com, SWR18N, looks to be descending into London Heathrow, and will result in a diversion caused by this emergency.
At this time, it is unclear what the cause of the emergency is, but is serious enough to cause such a diversion.

UPDATE #3 @ 1817 UK time – At this moment in time, it is unclear what the cause of the emergency is, which is causing this descent, hold, and subsequently diversion rather than continuing on to New York.

UPDATE #5 @ 1821 UK time – The Airbus A330-343E operating the SWISS flight originally for New York is HB-JHL, a 11.4-year-old aircraft, that has been with the airline since February 2012. Quite the loop the aircraft has done for its diversion to London Heathrow.

UPDATE #13 @ 1853 UK time – SWR18N has safely landed at Paris Charles de Gaulle following a potentially failed diversion into London Heathrow. It is unclear when the aircraft will be continuing on to New York.
AviationSource will approach SWISS for a comment on this emergency.
