Corfu Airport in Greece is less than a week away from its Summer 2023 demand expecting to ramp up its movement numbers.

Using data from RadarBox.com, we will establish when this peak will begin to ramp up, as well as how the airport has been performing in its quiet periods.

Without further ado, let’s get into the numbers…

The figure is also six movements ahead of the same period in 2019, which shows further growth at periods where movements are less likely to come in.

Below is the last four weeks’ worth of data for the airport:

What we can see from the data is that the numbers sharply increase throughout April and go even higher in the typical Summer months as well.

The Summer 2023 season is expected to be just as busy, if not busier, than Summer 2022, so it remains clear that we will see further percentage increases for Corfu Airport.

At its highest Summer peak, the airport can handle around 200-210 movements based on the seven-day rolling average provided by the flight tracking company.

It remains clear that next week is going to be an important one for Corfu Airport as the path toward the Summer 2023 season begins.

Looking ahead, it’s going to be interesting to see whether we will see more flights operate at the airport based on scheduling put forward by holiday carriers.

For now, all eyes are on the airport to secure as much Summer revenue as possible before things die down for the Winter 2023/24 season.
