In continued themes towards the day before an airshow begins, Riyadh Air has showcased it’s second livery concept for it’s aircraft.

CEO Tony Douglas did the same before the Paris Air Show back in June, where he showcased a concept for an all-Indigo livery.

The Saudi Arabia-based carrier is expected to make waves once again at the Dubai Air Show, with an order for narrowbody aircraft expected.

Bloomberg reports that this could be as many as 100 Boeing 737 MAX jets, consisting of 50 firm and 50 options.

Riyadh Air joined carrier SAUDIA earlier this year ordering Boeing 787 Dreamliners, of which the carrier ordered 39 Dreamliners with an option for 33 more.

SAUDIA also ordered 39 units, but with options for 10 aircraft as well.

Looking ahead, it’s going to be an interesting Dubai Air Show, with carriers such as the Saudi Arabia-based airline expected to make an order amongst others for either narrowbody or widebody jets moving forward.

AviationSource now has the dedicated Dubai Air Show page setup in advance of the airshow taking place tomorrow. Be sure to visit it by clicking here and keep it in your bookmarks!
