At the 54th Paris Air Show 2023, the AviationSource News team had the opportunity to step on-board the Helvetic Embraer E195-E2.
This article will cover the photos and details of the Helvetic Airways Embraer E195-E2 that was on static display at the Paris Air Show.
Helvetic E195-E2 at Paris

This specific Helvetic Airways Embraer E195-E2 that was own static display at the Paris Air Show was registered as HB-AZK, which was delivered to the Swiss carrier back in July 2021, meaning the frame is nearly two years old.
Starting things off, whilst boarding the Helvetic E195-E2 you will immediately recognise the new Pratt & Whitney GTFs (PW1000G) which are used to power Embraer’s E2 Family of aircraft.

For the interior of the Helvetic E195-E2 it has a seating capacity of an all-Economy class layout of 134 seats in a 2-2 configuration.
One thing to note about the E2’s seats is that the seat is bolted to the wall of the aircraft, meaning there is more foot space without the need for a second seat support leg to be in-between the two foot-wells.

Finally, looking out of the much larger windows over the Paris Air Show on the E195-E2 shows an incredible view of the wings that are gull shaped, thus reducing drag and increasing the aircrafts efficiency whilst also lower its noise.
Overall
It was certainly a treat to view this magnificent aircraft at the Paris Air Show 2023, with its elegant design, increased efficiency and reduced noise, it is certainly a vast improvement over Embraer’s E1 aircraft.
We can’t wait to have a flight and review the Embraer E2 in all its glory.
