Passenger Satisfaction

Importanly, MIA’s success is reflected in the satisfaction of its passengers. The Airport Service Quality (ASQ) customer satisfaction rating stands at an outstanding 4.94 out of 5.

This outstanding score, coupled with an incredibly low passenger complaint rate of 0.055 per 1000 passengers, underscores MIA’s dedication to ensuring a smooth and untroubled experience for travelers.

Retail Services

Beyond its aviation services, MIA has strategically increased the number of Food & Beverage (F&B) and retail outlets within its premises.

This expansion enhances the overall airport experience, allowing passengers to indulge in diverse offerings while waiting for their flights.

The focus on creating a vibrant and engaging environment contributes to MIA’s reputation as a preferred travel hub.

Technological Innovations

Beyond physical infrastructure, 2023 saw MIA embrace technology to elevate passenger convenience.

The introduction of the MIA Super App, powered by Adani One, streamlines various services, putting essential information and functionalities at passengers’ fingertips.

Additionally, the implementation of a robust customer relationship management (CRM) tool ensures swift resolution of online passenger grievances, enhancing the overall travel experience.

Environmental Stewardship and Recognition

MIA’s commitment also extends beyond passenger satisfaction and operational efficiency. The airport places a strong emphasis on environmental sustainability, incorporating eco-friendly measures into its operations.

This dedication to environmental stewardship, coupled with initiatives such as passenger engagement activities, has garnered multiple awards, further solidifying MIA’s position as a leader in the aviation industry.

Summary

As the recipient of the best airport award at Wings India 2024, MIA remains unwavering in its commitment to excellence.

A spokesperson for the airport expressed the determination to continue and surpass these endeavors in 2024. The future holds exciting possibilities for Mangaluru International Airport, promising an even more remarkable journey for its passengers.
