Airlines operating from Mangaluru International Airport are all set to offer more weekly seats across sectors during the ensuing summer 2024.

Travelers at the Indian airport can expect a summer of increased connectivity, both domestically and internationally.

Mangaluru International Airport (IXE) is pleased to announce a significant expansion of its flight network for the upcoming summer season, commencing March 31st, 2024.

This strategic move caters to the rising demand for travel and offers passengers greater flexibility and convenience.

Enhanced Capacity and Destination Reach

The summer schedule boasts a 2% increase in available seats compared to winter 2023, translating to a total of 27,670 seats spread across 17 destinations.

This broader network provides passengers with a wider range of options, facilitating both domestic exploration and international travel.

Domestic Network Expansion

Mangaluru continues to strengthen its domestic connectivity, offering direct flights to major Indian cities like Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Pune.

A new addition to the domestic roster is Tiruchirappalli, opening up exciting possibilities for regional travel within India.

Passengers seeking to explore the captivating beauty of Kerala can leverage convenient through connections to Calicut and Thiruvananthapuram via Bengaluru.

International Route Expansion

IXE is proud to announce the exciting addition of Jeddah as a new international destination for the summer season.

This addition complements the existing network of popular destinations like Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Dammam, Muscat, Doha, Kuwait, and Bahrain.

This expanded international connectivity caters to the diverse travel aspirations of passengers, connecting them to prominent cultural and commercial hubs across the globe.

  • Air India Express: Air India Express will launch a highly anticipated weekly service to Jeddah, commencing operations on April 3rd. Additionally, they have increased flight frequency to Dammam, offering four flights per week since March 12th.
  • IndiGo: To enhance passenger comfort, IndiGo will be deploying Airbus aircraft for all their five daily flights to Bengaluru. They are also increasing frequencies on key domestic routes, including Chennai (now with two ATRs per day), Mumbai (with five flights per day), Hyderabad (two ATRs per day), Delhi (one flight per day), and Pune (three flights per week).
