The latest expansion in parking slots, specifically the newly developed RAMP areas, marks a new achievement for the airport, positioning VIA to effortlessly handle a historic number of 68 jets simultaneously.

Before the strategic development of these designated parking slots, Velana could host a maximum of 39 aircraft.
However, the recent enhancements, strategically placed in front of the new Fuel Farm and at the southwest corner, have revolutionized the airport’s capabilities, allowing it to cater to 68 jets concurrently.
