One of the world’s leading global aviation leaders and providers, Jetex, a Dubai-native company will be launching a new private jet terminal in Abu Dhabi.

The new state-of-the-art FBO (Fixed Based Operator) private jet terminal will boost the image and competitiveness of the legendary Al Bateen Executive Airport. Al Bateen Executive Airport is the only business aviation-centric airport in Abu Dhabi.

The new FBO will further uplift the guest’s experience upon arriving at the airport, giving an image boost to the airport.

Abu Dhabi Al Bateen Airport

Abu Dhabi’s executive airport was built in 1960 and has served the area ever since until 2008. After the new Abu Dhabi International Airport was built, Al Bateen Airport operated as an executive aviation facility, with a focus on business jets and general aviation.

The airport is well suited for business jets as it has a short taxi time, and operates with fast and efficient ground times. Moreover, the airport has fewer slot restrictions, which gives convenience to business jet travelers.

The proximity of the airport to downtown makes the airport favourable for business executives. JetEx Abu Dhabi will be key in the propelling of the local economy, as it creates new travel experiences and increases in recognition of business aviation travel in the capital.

The business aviation scene in Abu Dhabi is about to change for the better.

Major Upgrades

Moreover, the redesign will also enhance safety, as this will upgrade ground lightning, and enhance signage and landscape to ensure pilots operate their aircraft with the highest safety standards.

The Real Winner: Abu Dhabi

The opening of JetEx Abu Dhabi will play a crucial role in the economic growth of the region.

JetEx’s presence will uplift the air travel of business aviation travel completely, which caters to corporations and individuals traveling to and from Abu Dhabi.

Here, an increased business aviation capability increases the competitiveness of corporate air travel, directly impacting the business dynamics of the local economy.
