From there, the return will depart from 1155 local and arrive back at 0600 local the next day.

For the carrier, this is the first intercontinental route launched since the COVID-19 pandemic occurred, which marks a big step in the way the country has reopened as a whole.

Looking ahead, the carrier is expected to increase the number of flights between Xiamen and Paris, as well as launch new routes into Doha and increase frequencies to Singapore, Amsterdam, Los Angeles, and Vancouver, respectively.

Xiamen Airlines will be utilizing this Paris route for its connectivity options that they have agreed with Air France already, of which CDG is their hub.

They said the following in a statement regarding its international connectivity:

“Xiamen Airlines cooperates with six international airlines like Air France and Czech Airlines to develop transit intermodal products on South America and Africa routes with Paris as transfer by using their transportation networks, and efficiently realizes two-way transit connections between Europe, America and Australia and major domestic cities with Xiamen Airlines’ rich route network and convenient transit services at its main base in Fujian, China.

Looking ahead, the carrier does appear to be on a positive trend and climbing upwards as they begin to re-add or reinstate international routes going into the future.
