Last week, WestJet restarted flights between Toronto & Dublin, as the carrier marked a decade of flying into Europe.
The Canadian carrier has been bolstering it’s portfolio overseas, as we will come to explore in this piece.

Resumption of Toronto-Dublin Flights…
WestJet resumed flights between Toronto and Dublin last weekend, with the following scheduling:

“Service between Toronto and Dublin continues be an important part of WestJet’s story, and we celebrate a decade of service that has strengthened ties between our two countries”.
“The return of daily seasonal service between Toronto and Dublin gives Canadians the opportunity to immerse themselves in the diverse landscapes, rich culture and warm hospitality of Ireland with the convenience and affordability WestJet is known for.”
Upcoming Plans for Summer Transatlantic Travel…
The return to Dublin from Toronto is part of an overall arching approach to transatlantic operations in Summer 2024.

What remains clear is that WestJet continues to press ahead in the transatlantic market, with things going well thus far.

Looking ahead, all eyes will be on how WestJet’s Summer 2024 season will perform on the transatlantic arena.
It is services such as Toronto-Dublin that will place significant emphasis on the successful markets they are serving.
If things go well this year again, then there could be scope to expand frequencies going into the future.
