Air Canada’s highly anticipated Vancouver-Singapore route was inaugurated this week. It becomes the only non-stop route linking Canada and Singapore.

This new addition also takes the crown as Air Canada’s longest flight by distance, spanning an impressive 12,818 kilometers (7,965 miles).

An Air Canada First

The route boasts a flight time of up to 16 hours and five minutes, whisking passengers between Vancouver’s Pacific hub and Singapore’s bustling heart.

“We are thrilled to welcome customers onboard this new route, linking Canada and Singapore through our Vancouver hub,” shared Mark Galardo, Air Canada’s Executive Vice President of Revenue and Network Planning.

This strategic expansion strengthens Vancouver’s position as a preferred gateway to Asia, with seamless connections for travelers.

Singapore Airlines, our longstanding codeshare and Star Alliance partner, offers extensive onward connections throughout Southeast Asia, Southern India, and Western Australia.
