Fueling Sustainable Solutions

Since its inception in February 2023, the Sustainable Flight Fund has emerged as a trailblazer in the realm of aviation venture funds.

Unlike any other initiative, it is specifically dedicated to identifying and supporting start-ups focused on advancing SAF technology and feedstock development.

By nurturing innovation in this critical area, the Fund aims to bolster the supply of SAF and accelerate its adoption across the industry.

United Airlines recognizes the importance of engaging consumers in its sustainability efforts. Through its website and mobile app, the airline offers passengers the opportunity to contribute to the Sustainable Flight Fund before completing their booking.

With options to donate $1, $3.50, or $7.00, travelers can play a direct role in supporting the development of sustainable aviation solutions.

This inclusive approach underscores United’s commitment to transparency and collaboration in addressing climate change.
