The new flights between Guam and Tokyo Haneda with United Airlines will have the following scheduling, using their Boeing 737-800 aircraft:

  • GUM DEP 1900 HND 2200
  • HND DEP 2355 GUM 0445 + 1

United Airlines remains the largest airline out of Guam, operating more than 87 weekly flights to 14 different destinations.

Patrick Quayle, United’s Senior Vice President of Global Network Planning and Alliances had this to say on the new Haneda flights:

“As we grow our global network, we’re always looking for opportunities to give our customers more choice and strengthen links between countries.”

“This route – connecting Tokyo’s most convenient airport with our unique Guam hub – accomplishes just that.”

“I appreciate the support of the Department of Transportation in recognizing the importance of this route to our customers and stakeholders”.

Such an addition of flights between the two destinations means that United Airlines will operate six daily flights, with the other origin points being:

  • New York Newark
  • Washington D.C.
  • Chicago
  • Los Angeles
  • San Francisco

All eyes will be on how the new service performs when it launches in May.
