TUI Group (TUI) has extended its decade-strong partnership with IBS Software, to optimise its Airline IT operations platform.
The extension of the agreement for software services for the Airline IT operations platform effectively disrupts existing business models, enhances scalability, and accelerates the speed to market, all while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
A Decade of Collaboration
TUI’s partnership with IBS Software has been a crucial element of their success in the travel industry. The collaboration extends to overhauling TUI’s IT processes and ensuring the delivery of transformational value.
IBS Software currently maintains more than 35 airline backend systems at TUI, spanning legacy and modern technology stacks.
Integrated Disposition Planning and Statistics
This renewed partnership will see IBS Software continue to own, operate, and enhance TUI’s Integrated Disposition Planning and Statistics product (IDPS).
The IDPS system plays a pivotal role in managing various aspects of TUI’s airline operations, including flight planning and control, crewing and rostering, flight operations, maintenance planning, HR, and statistics and reporting. It’s a comprehensive solution that covers all five of TUI’s airlines.
