Inaugurating on November 4, 2023, the carrier will launch once-weekly services from Paris in France non-stop to Aqaba in Jordan. The service will be operated every Saturday.

The new service will be operated by the carriers’ Boeing 737-800 fleet, which they currently have 67 of with a further 13 due to join the fleet over the coming months for an eventual total of 80 of the type.

This is of course prior to the Air France-KLM Group taking delivery of the Airbus NEO family aircraft they ordered to replace their ageing narrowbody Boeing 737 fleet across both KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and Transavia.

All of Transavia France’s Boeing 737-800s have a seating configuration of 189 all-economy class seats.

The departing flight TO8070 will leave Paris’ Orly Airport (ORY) at 08.35 a.m. local time and arrive at Aqaba King Hussein International Airport (AQJ) in Jordan at 15.35 p.m. local time.

The return flight TO8071 will depart Aqaba King Hussein International Airport (AQJ) at 16.30 p.m. local time after a 55-minute turnaround and finally land back at Paris Orly Airport (ORY) at 20.00 p.m. local time.

Overall

Seeing Transavia France increase their winter season offering to a ‘warmer’ climate destination is yet another great option for their customers who want a warm getaway during what is usually a cold European winter.
