Alaska Airlines and Porter Airlines have this week announced a partnership, where the West Coast carrier will enable passengers to book services to Toronto from Los Angeles & San Francisco.

The services to LAX & SFO with the Canadian carrier begin in January, with the West Coast airline taking advantage of this opportunity.

Brett Catlin, vice president of loyalty, alliances and sales at Alaska Airlines said the following on this new partnership, which will mainly affect the Toronto-San Francisco & Los Angeles routes:

Adding to this was Kevin Jackson, executive vice president and chief commercial officer, Porter Airlines:

“As our network expands across North America, this partnership with Alaska Airlines will enable travelers in the western U.S. to enjoy our elevated onboard experience when flying to Toronto and throughout Eastern Canada,”

“Alaska and Porter emphasize service excellence on each and every flight, so this partnership is a natural fit for our passengers.”

This now means that Alaska Airlines has partnered up with their 30th airline, as the continued connectivity options at the airline continues.

All eyes will be on how this new relationship with Porter Airlines on the Toronto-San Francisco & Los Angeles routes performs going into the future.
